    3 day workshop:


    Includes topics on crime scene management protocol for law enforcement, evidence dynamics and evidence management; Identify, preserve, document, collect

    Law enforcement, prosecuting authorities and legal counsel as well as first responders in the private and security sector

  • INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

    3 day course:


    Learn techniques on the basic function of a camera and photographic principles. 


    Suitable for but not limited to law enforcement, private CSI, ACFE, NPA and legal Services, Medical legal services, EMS and private photographers. Focussing on the camera and equipment layout, camera settings lenses, exposure settings, depth of field.


    Minimum of 10 learners per course

  • USE OF FORENSIC LIGHT SOURCES AT CRIME SCENES AND PHOTOGRAPHY OF RESULTS

    1 week course covering the following subjects:


    • User manual of the specific Lightsource used during training (Light sources in general)
    • Cameras and camera settings a general overview
    • Using light in forensic science
    • The use of fluorescent powders 
    • Crime scene processing techniques 
    • Digital photographic principles and image management
    • Court preparation and evidence presentation

  • COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF FINGERPRINTS

    1 week course covering the following subjects:


    • The principles of fingerprints 
    • The principles of fingerprint classifications
    • Fingerprint examinations on crime scenes

  • COURT CHART PREPARATION USING COURT CHART GENERATOR

    1 week course covering the following subjects: 


    • Ridge characteristics
    • Court chart requirements for law enforcement
    • Preparation of images for court in court chart extreme
    • Preparation of court chart
    • Court presentation techniques

  • ADVANCED CRIME SCENE PHOTOGRAPHY

    1 week course covering the following subjects:


    • An overview of photography
    • General Camera settings 
    • Digital photographic principles
    • The properties of light
    • Macro photography
    • Low Light photography
    • Specialised scene photography (drone, 360 speed)
    • Image management and enhancement
    • Flash photography

  • COLLECTION OF ITEMS WITH POTENTIAL EVIDENTIAL VALUE WORKSHOP

    3 day course:


    The purpose of this course is to learn techniques on crime scene management, the Locard principle, Collection of physical evidence, chain of custody, evidence possibilities and capabilities of a FP Lab, basic FP lab processes. 


    This course is mainly focussed on law enforcement and private security sectors, private CSI, ACFE, NPA and legal Services, Medical legal services, EMS, private photographers. We will discuss the evidence collection equipment and consumables as well as reporting.

  • CRIME SCENE MANAGEMENT

    3 day course:


    This course will focus on techniques of how to control, secure and protect a crime scene to preserve physical evidence. 


    Suitable for law enforcement and private security as well as private CSI, ACFE, NPA and legal Services, Medical legal services, EMS and private photographers. The teaching will focus on controlling securing and protecting the scene, scene management, protecting physical evidence, importance of physical evidence.
